We came back from Cyprus on Sunday, carrying with us much great memories!! Here are some photos (I know a few of my friends are dying to see me in that early naked swim suit....well....BE READY....I recken that this is gonna be the largest shock you are gonna get in your lifetime!!! )

This photo was taken in our balcony. It was around 5 in the afternoon, and I had already spent the past few hours lying under the sun by the swimming pool. My belly only looked sort of flat because I had not had any food since that early morning.

We just came back from a short lunch break (Peter always had dinner with his conference people and left me unattended ......) While I was getting ready to go back to my lovely spot by the pool, he was heading back to his conference. And this photo shows nothing but his reluctance.

We had a fantastic meal at this nice local-ish restaurant, which offered great dinner deal at 7.50 per person and a bottle of wine for two people. Not only that the price looked good but also the p ortion of the food was amazing. By the time we were half way through our starters, we felt full and wondered how we could possibly finish the main courses, which was yet to be served . It turned out that I could only have so little from my main course that I kinda upset the waitress (feeling sorry and guilty....).
(more photos from that restaurant can be found at my flickr)

This is what I did for the whole week (while Peter was working hard in his conference!!). It was "The Devil Wears Prada" that I was reading. I really loved the book and could not hold my laughter, which earned me quite a bit of the attention there!!

I was working really hard on my cute DS.
Please note: my belly was jutting out and I seemed to be losing control over it...

There are lots and lots of cats in Cyprus. The legend goes that they were only intruduced to the island when St. Helen first got to the island. Back then (not sure exactly when), there were snakes everywhere in the island so St. Helen brought cats to there to drive all the snakes away. Well...just a story, I guess. But I really knew was that Peter, while lying by the pool, paid NO ATTENTION on sexy ladies but on CATS.....so wierd!!!

Luxury taxis in Cyprus: apparently, there are ONLY Benz taxi....and I had never seen 6 doors Benz before....

Paphos has a nice harbour; and a lot of expensive restaurants and bars are located around that area. (There is also a castle!!) We were lucky to find a nice cafe, which offered nice food at lower prices. Yet most importatnly, it also offered a wonderful spot from which we could see the castle and the whole harbour.

The only time that Peter and I actually spent some time by the pool together....I hid myself under the huge unbrella at all times whereas Peter only wanted to expose himself fully under the sun....

Our last day in Cyprus. The conference organized a trip and took us to a tiny village somewhere in Cyprus. It was good to be away from the beach and the tourists for some time and to see the REAL people in Cyprus.
